ORLI Operation Resilient Long Island

This one week project focused on resilience against flood levels and rising currents. The idea was to allow the first level to flood but be stable enough to continue to function;  in time it would adapt itself to become a floating complex accessible by boat.

This project had the use of CLT's being the main material for construction and the adaptation against flood levels in this flood zone site. Furthermore, the programs included a school, apartments, a bike shop, parking space, and a CLT manufacturing warehouse

with gallery space. All of this while avoiding

gentrification in this Brooklyn neighborhood.

eVolo 2021 Skyscraper Competition

The New York City (NYC) Farm-Line masterplan proposes a new way of addressing food security and subway infrastructure maintenance within the five boroughs. By utilizing a closed-loop food production network made up of hydroponic, aquaponic, aeroponic, and vertical root-crop planting systems, sustainable and efficient urban farming could be realized in this underutilized space.
